This 3940J 1st Series was manufactured in 1985 and sold at the Patek Philippe Solon in Geneva January 15 1985.  This is the launch of the new Ultra Thin 240 Q Caliber movement for the Perpetual Calendar. The watch features an automatic movement with perpetual calendar, day, month, date, moon phase,  Silver white dial with applied gold hour markers. and new Patek alligator strap with original 18K yellow gold Patek buckle. Further interchangeable see though case back was ordered in 1990's

The watch comes with a 2 year movement guarantee and  the original certificate of origin and box.
